Hi, I'm Terri.
When I married my husband Peter, I knew he had Parkinson’s.
What I didn’t know was what caregiving would eventually ask of me.
The exhaustion.
The grief.
The loneliness of carrying everything while feeling unseen yourself.
I also know the guilt that comes with wondering how much longer you can keep doing it — and then feeling terrible for even thinking that.
You are not a bad caregiver.
You are a human being carrying something incredibly hard.
That understanding became the foundation for everything I now teach caregivers.
